Small Shop Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and I have five of my most favorite small shops to share with you today! But first, I have to start this post with a picture of my sweet mama! Y’all I can’t even tell you how much I adore and love her. She is truly my right hand. In addition to imparting me with Godly wisdom and showering me with unconditional love, she helps me to manage this insane life I live. I honestly don’t know how I managed when I didn’t live 45 minutes away from her!  And if you know her, you love her as much as me. I hit the mama jackpot!

Ever Thine Home

I am a long time fan of Mrs. Barbara Rainey! (She and her husband, Dennis founded FamilyLife in 1976.) And when my sister shipped me a copy of her new book, My Heart, Ever His, for my birthday I was elated. Imperfect Dust

Y’all I can’t even tell you how much I adore Danielle, the insanely talented handletterer behind the brand Imperfect Dust. We connected almost a year ago and honestly not many days go by that we don’t text or voice message.  I am absolutely blown away by her faith and her talent.  And I have no doubt you guys will be too.  Her work can be found in Kirklands, TJ Maxx and Hobby Lobby among other places. Returning Grace Designs

Oh my goodness and here’s another friend that makes my heart explode! Meet Stephanie of Returning Grace Designs.  Not only is Stephanie a fellow Louisiana lady, but she also holds a special place in my heart because she loved on and supported me when Simply Southern Cottage was just a little baby.  Stephanie trusted me with styling and photographing her products.  And when I was just getting started with my social media presence this meant more to me than you could ever know. I have SOOOO many of Stephanie’s pillow covers and tea towels in my home.  I absolutely adore everything she creates and I know you will too!

Nickel Designs Shop

Ok, if you know me well, you KNOW I LOVE to change out my front door mat with the seasons. And last but not least, please meet my precious friend Rosana with Nest of Petals. Oh my word the first time I laid eyes on Rosana’s hand embroidered pillows I fell COMPELTELY in love (seriously some of the most beautiful hand stitching work I’ve ever seen)!  In Rosana’s Etsy shop, she has sooooo many designs and sizes to choose from, but personally, I think this blessed mama pillow just takes the cake. Y’all I can’t even begin to tell you the amazing people I’ve connected with all because of my little broken down, Louisiana cottage.  Every day I wake up in awe of the incredible life the Lord has graciously gifted me!
