My little cottage turns 100 years old this year, and in many ways, I feel every one of those years right alongside it. I bought this home ten years ago, unaware that it would become the setting for some of the hardest, holiest, and most transformative seasons of my life. What I thought was a renovation project slowly revealed itself as something much deeper a place where I would learn to wait, to grieve, to rebuild, and to trust again.
This home has held more than furniture and finishes. It has held prayers whispered into quiet rooms, long stretches of uncertainty, and the slow work of becoming someone new.
